Mike Tyson Tribal Tattoo

On Mike Tyson’s, famous boxer, face there is recognizable tattoo that defines him. He has a big tattoo around his left eye. The tribal tattoo covers most his temple on the left eye. It is black and has two loops with lines coming out of it. There is not much complex shading to the tattoo. It is just dark black color. The tattoo itself is simple. There are multiple lines on the tattoo.

I think he wanted unique ink to make him stand out and be different. Not many people have a facial tattoo at the time he got it. So getting one automatically makes him different. He chose that design because he thought it was cool. Tyson wanted to add to his tough persona. Many people and himself call Mike Tyson “The Baddest Man on the Planet”. He was a successful boxer that had a reputation for being strong and tough. Tyson was the youngest boxer to win the World Boxing Championship, World Boxing Association, and International Boxing Federation heavyweight titles. These are big accomplishments that put him as one of the greatest boxers of his era and all time. His tough reputation on the boxing ring come from his aggressiveness and powerful punches. He knockout opponents sometimes in just a few rounds and sometimes even seconds. Also, Tyson was very outspoken and reckless outside the ring. He would say things that many people won’t say on live television. There are many crazy moments of him saying reckless comments about his opponent or anybody. One of his most memorable moments that add to his “Baddest Man on the Planet reputation” is his match against Evander Holyfield. In this match, Tyson bite off a part of Holyfield’s ear. The fight had to be stopped on the third round because Tyson took off a piece of Holyfield’s ear with his mouth. This is all add to his persona that makes him scary. He may want to add something else to that persona. This recognisable tattoo adds to his already scary appearance. This shows how he isn’t afraid of anything like his opponents, others opinions, change or face tattoo. The tattoo make him look like a warrior. So that’s probably why he chose to have that tribal tattoo.
